By applying a static and constant ice load of 1590 tonnes, the used leg diameter, wall thickness, and the hull configuration, the structure members fulfill the DNV‐OS‐J101 requirement for boundary conditions simulated with stiffness from clay and/or sand.

For fixed boundary and pinned boundary conditions, some members are overstressed. For the load level of 1590 tonnes, the ice conditions (one year level ice) can be of 1m in thickness with an area of 200 m by 1600m.
